Auschwitz has become the symbol of the Nazi Holocaust – it is the most well known place of genocide in the world. Established in 1940 as a concentration camp for Polish political prisoners, Auschwitz became the center for extermination of European Jews in 1942. During the years 1940-1945, the Nazis killed approximately 1,3 million people there. The victims were mainly Jews, but also included many Poles, Roma and Sinti, Russian POWs, and members of other nationalities. Nowadays, Auschwitz houses the biggest cemetery in the world, along with a memorial and State museum.

      We will pick you up early morning from your hotel or arranged place in Katowice.  Auschwitz is one hour drive from Kattowic .

Then on the other side of Birkenau you will visit Central Sauna were prisoners who had been selected to work, were shaved, took a shower were tattooed and were uniforms clothing of the prisoners was disinfected in steam chambers; there were other smaller disinfection buildings, which also used steam and hot air chambers, as well as Zyklon-B poison gas to disinfect the clothing., Canada was where the all the property of the prisoners was sorted and packed for shipment to Germany then you will visit and ruins of gas chambers and crematoria IV , V.

    Full day Auschwitz tour from Warsaw by express train ( travel time to Krakow 2,5 hour ) departs from Warsaw at 6:33 am or 7:35 am. We will provide all detailed informations how to booked your tickets before a travel.

    You will arrive at Krakow train station at 9:00 am or 10:00 am, we will wait for you at the platform and take you for one hour drive to Auschwitz.

  • If you wish to visit the Memorial without a guide and explore the site of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II Birkenau on our own and spend as much time as possible. We can drive you to Auschwitz and back. You can enter the Auschwitz I site on the dates in high season from 1 April to 31 October at non-peak hours, from8:00 am till 10:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m until 19;00, the site f Auschwitz II Birkenau is open for visitors from 8:00 am till dusk with out restictions. Both sites are prepared for individual tourists with the description sighs and maps in English, Polish and Hebrew.

    Visitors to the Center have the opportunity to connect with Oświęcim’s pre-war Jewish life through the exhibition Oshpitzin, which tells this powerful story through photographs, artifacts and survivor testimony.

    In the exhibition, photographs of individuals and families, documents and artifacts from local Jewish organizations and businesses, and the Judaica excavated in 2004 from beneath the site of the Oświęcim Great Synagogue bring to life the vital Jewish town that Oświęcim once was.
